Learning and experiencing art is what we at Artsworth do. By providing unique workshops to our community members, whether they are children, teenagers, or adults, we are able to open the doors to creativity and show all who wish to learn about the beauty of crafting high quality work with your hands and heart. Workshops are held at 25 Pine Street and range from learning about how to manipulate molten glass to how to solder metal to how to sculpt out of clay or fiber. Our goal is to remain open to suggestions and ideas of how to meet the interests and needs of our community by providing a space for all teachers to share their craft with students of all ages. We hope that if you have a great idea that you wish to share with others, that you will come to Artsworth, share our space and share with us. Below you will find a list of current offerings: check back as our list is always changing! Teach a workshop!

    Craft Night/Open studio

    4:00pm - 7:00pm

CRAFT NIGHT at Artsworth/September 20th at the Artsworth Warehouse

    Bring something to make.
    Bring yourself. Come hang out.

    What are you working on?

A knitting project? A painting? A piece of writing? A quilt, collage, carving, sketch, repair job—or something you’ve been meaning to finish for months?

    Bring it to Craft Night.

Craft Night is a casual, come-as-you-are gathering for makers of all kinds. We’ll gather in the glassblowing- studio annex at 25 Pine Street to work on our own projects, share ideas, talk, laugh, and enjoy the simple pleasure of making things together.

Think of it as study hall for makers—except there’s no homework, no grades, and no pressure to be productive!

There are tables and chairs, and outlets if your project needs electricity.

    The idea is simple:
    Make something.
    Work alongside others.
    Share what you know.
Ask for help when you need it.
Take a break and have a conversation.
    Laugh a little.
    Get something done.

Because sometimes the best way to move a project forward is simply to show up and make it with other people.

Come join us for Craft Night at Artsworth. Bring your project—or just come see what everyone else is making.
